Most volunteers to Kenya like to combine travel and sightseeing trips,  with a stint of volunteering to get an all-round experience.  Besides, you simply can not come to Kenya without soaking up the magnificent natural beauty, prolific wildlife or cultural diversity that makes up this stunning country.

To volunteer at TEC, you don’t have to be a teacher.   There are endless activities you can be involved in; there is always loads to do such as assist with office admin, school maintenance,  gardening and painting at the school. You will be directed by Tony, our school Director and his staff.

Unlike volunteer agencies, we do not charge a fee.  However, you will be solely responsible for your travel, flights and accommodation, and whilst we can offer and assist with suitable accommodation, etc. you will be largely responsible for your own wellbeing and safety.    We can also recommend reputable tour operators for safari trips, and other sightseeing excursions (a must while in Kenya).
